Your body literally needs movement to stay alive. It keeps your brain, joints, and heart healthy. Many of the seniors we see at the start of treatment aren’t moving very much because they are stiff or sore, or they lack energy. Chiropractic decreases pain and improves energy…so you feel like doing more.
Getting out and seeing friends and family is energizing. The more you maintain relationships with friends and family, the better your outlook on life. If you haven’t seen someone in a while make it a point to give them a call or invite them to lunch. It will be good for both of you.
Don’t Rely on Pills-
Often people will say that they don’t want to be taking all of the pills they’re taking. Often, they also have fears about the side effects. But they keep doing it because they’re afraid not to or they’re in too much pain when they stop. It’s a frustrating cycle. The real truth is that you can work on changing your health a little bit at a time and, over time, your doctor may be able to reduce your medications for you. Chiropractic patients typically take fewer medications than other people because the adjustment helps them feel better.
